The apartment can host up to 4 persons - there are 2 bedrooms with 2 single beds each. There is a minimum required stay of 3 nights. Coffee and tea is available for free in the B&B. A delicious breakfast (or lunch, or dinner) can be purchased at the Deli ‘Lombardo’s’ downstairs. B&B guests receive a 10% discount.

PRICES FOR THE APARTMENT, INCLUDING ALL APPLICABLE TAXES (AND NO HIDDEN COSTS):

DEPOSIT

A deposit of 210 EUR is required at the time of booking for the reservation to be confirmed. The remaining amount of the bill can then be settled upon arrival in cash. You can also settle the balance prior to arrival by online payment through Paypal, but then you are asked to cover the 4% surcharge that Paypal charges.

PAYMENTS

The deposit can be paid through www.paypal.com . We will send you an electronic invoice, which allows you to make the payment using your credit card. You can make PayPal payments with or without having a PayPal account. If you prefer to pay by bank, we will provide you with the account number and the international bank codes that you will need. We will cover any fees and charges for the deposit.

MAKING A RESERVATION

We will respond with availability and a price quote. If you then would like to make the reservation, we will make a temporary reservation for you and send you an invoice for the deposit at the same time. Payment of that deposit within 24 hours then automatically confirms your reservation.

CANCELLATION POLICY

We are very small: we only have one apartment! Consequently, no-shows have a big impact our business. However, we would like you to be able to cancel in case your plans change unexpectedly.

The deposit required for a confirmed reservation is 220 EUR. The cancellation charges are:

1. •100% refund (minus an administration fee of 50 EUR) if the cancellation is made 1 month in advance
   

2. •50% of the deposit will be refunded if cancellation is made 14 days or more before arrival date
   

3. •No refund if cancellation is made within 14 days of arrival
   

4. •No refunds in case of shortening your stay after arrival
   

You may wish to take out a travel/cancellation insurance to cover for the cancellation charge in case you have to cancel involuntarily.

CHECK IN AND CHECK OUT TIMES

Check in time is starting 2 p.m., Check out is before 11 a.m. Late check-in’s are possible, no problem.

During the holidays and events listed below there is a minimum stay requirement of 7 nights:

- Easter: March 29 – April 3, 2013

- Queens Birthday: April 27 – May 3, 2013

- Ascension Day: May 8 – May 14, 2013

- Whitsuntide: May 16 – May 22, 2013

- Gay Pride Weekend: August 1 – 6, 2013

Please also note that the stairway leading to the apartment is very steep - similar to other monumental 19th century buildings in the area. If you have trouble walking, this is not the right place for you.

One more thing - Amsterdam is a party city (and we hope you will enjoy this!) but this apartment is not a party apartment. We ask you to be respectful of our neighbors and keep the noise down after 10pm. Thanks!
